BCNP successfully organised the “1000 Hari Emas Pertama: Panduan Lengkap Keibubapaan & Penyusuan” seminar on 24 October 2026 at the BCNP Consultancy Training Centre, Bandar Dato Onn, Johor. The programme was led by Dr Hairin Anisa, an experienced Child Specialist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and BCNP Team. It aimed to equip expectant parents, new parents, and first-time parents with essential knowledge and practical skills to support maternal health, breastfeeding, infant care, and child development during the first 1,000 days of a child's life. Participants gained valuable insights into pregnancy care, breastfeeding techniques, baby care, infant nutrition, child health and development, and light exercises for mothers. The seminar also featured practical demonstrations on breastfeeding positions, hand expression, and hand massage techniques. The programme provided a valuable learning opportunity for parents to strengthen their confidence and understanding of early parenting while promoting healthier beginnings for mothers and children. The 7th BCNP Annual Conference: The Art & Science of Breastfeeding 2026 was successfully held on 10–11 October 2026 at H Elite Design Hotel, Kota Bharu, Kelantan, under the theme “Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works.” The two-day conference brought together healthcare professionals, breastfeeding counsellors, and experts in maternal and child health to share knowledge, discuss current breastfeeding practices, and explore evidence-based approaches to breastfeeding support. The programme featured insightful presentations, expert discussions, and interactive sessions covering various topics, including breastfeeding challenges, maternal mental health, nutrition, traditional herbs and supplements, and the latest breastfeeding trends in Malaysia. The conference also provided a valuable platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and professional development among participants. Through these meaningful discussions and shared experiences, the event aimed to strengthen breastfeeding support and promote better health outcomes for mothers and babies. BCNP extends its sincere appreciation to all speakers, facilitators, participants, and supporting partners for contributing to the success of this conference.
The Breastfeeding Counselor Networking Program (BCNP) successfully organized the Pregnancy, Breastfeeding & Parenting Seminar on 5 September 2026 at the BCNP Consultancy Training Centre, Johor Bahru. The seminar was conducted by Dr. Hairin Anisa binti Tajuddin, Paediatrician and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), together with a team of certified facilitators. The programme provided parents and caregivers with practical knowledge and evidence-based guidance on pregnancy, breastfeeding, infant nutrition, child development, positive parenting, and common childhood health concerns. The seminar brought together expectant parents, parents, caregivers, and early childhood educators in an engaging and supportive learning environment. Participants also enjoyed complimentary meals, goodie bags, and exciting lucky draw prizes. The programme concluded successfully, helping participants gain greater confidence and knowledge in supporting their children's health and development from pregnancy through early childhood. The Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Course Zon Tengah 2026 was successfully held from 28–30 August 2026 in Lembah Klang, organised by the Breastfeeding Counselor Networking Program (BCNP). The three-day programme brought together healthcare professionals, maternity care providers, individuals working with pregnant mothers, freelancers, and breastfeeding supporters. Participants were equipped with practical knowledge and counselling skills through evidence-based learning, interactive discussions, and practical guidance. Key topics included breastfeeding techniques, maternal and infant nutrition, relactation, managing breastfeeding challenges, effective communication, supporting working mothers, and the new topic “Jaundis: Salah Susu Ibu?” The programme also provided opportunities for networking and collaboration, strengthening the commitment to improve breastfeeding support for mothers and families in Malaysia. Breastfeeding Counselor Networking Program (BCNP) successfully hosted its Monthly Program: Pregnancy, Breastfeeding & Parenting Seminar on 2 August 2026 at the BCNP Consultancy Training Centre, Johor Bahru. The seminar was led by Dr. Hairin Anisa binti Tajuddin, Consultant Paediatrician and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), together with a team of certified and experienced facilitators. The programme provided participants with practical knowledge and evidence-based guidance on pregnancy care, breastfeeding, infant and child nutrition, child growth and development, positive parenting, and common childhood health concerns. Designed for expectant parents, parents of infants and young children, caregivers, and early childhood educators, the seminar offered an engaging platform to enhance understanding and build confidence in supporting children's health and development from pregnancy through early childhood. In addition to the educational sessions, participants enjoyed complimentary meals, received goodie bags, and took part in an exciting lucky draw, making the programme both informative and enjoyable. The "Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Course Zon Utara 2026" was successfully held from 17–19 July 2026 at Kayangan Hall, Level 8, KPJ Perlis. The three-day programme was jointly organised by the Breastfeeding Counselor Networking Program (BCNP), Kelab Sokongan Susuan Ibu Perlis (KSSIP), and the Perlis State Health Department (JKN Perlis). The course brought together healthcare professionals, maternity care providers, women working with pregnant mothers, freelancers, and individuals with a passion for supporting breastfeeding families. The programme was designed to strengthen participants' knowledge and counselling skills in breastfeeding support through evidence-based learning, practical guidance, and interactive discussions. Participants gained a deeper understanding of breastfeeding management, effective communication techniques, and strategies to empower mothers to overcome common breastfeeding challenges. The course also encouraged networking and collaboration among professionals and community supporters, reinforcing a shared commitment to improving breastfeeding outcomes and maternal and child health in Malaysia. Throughout the programme, participants gained evidence-based knowledge and practical skills in breastfeeding support, peer counseling, effective communication, and the management of common breastfeeding challenges through interactive lectures, discussions, and practical sessions. The course provided an excellent platform for learning, networking, and collaboration among participants from diverse backgrounds who shared a common goal of strengthening breastfeeding support within their communities.
